Manifold-to-tailpipe inspection for leaks, rattles, and diesel DPF/EGR concerns.
Schedule an InspectionIt can be. The closer the leak is to the firewall and cabin — manifold, flex pipe, downpipe — the higher the risk of exhaust gas including carbon monoxide entering the cabin. A rattle from the converter usually means the internal substrate has cracked and loose pieces are vibrating. A broken substrate can block exhaust flow enough to cause noticeable power loss. The converter typically needs replacement, but we’ll confirm with a physical inspection first.
