DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) is used by the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) emissions system on 2011+ diesel trucks. When the DEF tank gets below 10%, most trucks warn and eventually derate engine power. We check and top it off on every diesel service visit.
