Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I replace my wiper blades?

Every 6–12 months is the general guideline — shorter in Oregon where UV in summer and heavy rain in winter accelerate rubber degradation. Replace before fall rain season starts if they haven’t been changed in a year.

What’s the difference between beam and conventional wiper blades?

Conventional blades use a metal frame with multiple pressure points along the rubber. Beam blades are frameless — a single curved piece of rubber that presses uniformly against the windshield. Beam blades perform better on curved modern windshields and won’t collect ice and debris in the frame. Most modern trucks and SUVs are best served by beam or hybrid blades.

Why are my new wiper blades already streaking?

Either the wrong blade type for your windshield curvature, incorrect size, or a worn/bent wiper arm not applying proper pressure. The blade is only as good as the arm holding it. We check both.

Do you replace rear wiper blades?

Yes — we include rear wiper inspection and replacement on any vehicle that has one.

Do you service all makes and models?

Yes — all vehicles, gas and diesel, trucks and daily drivers. Hillsboro, Beaverton, and Portland metro.
