Schedule a Service VisitYes. Oregon requires all required lighting to be functional. A brake light or turn signal out is an equipment violation that can result in a citation and a fix-it requirement.
Rapid or hyperflash turn signal usually means one of the bulbs in that circuit is burnt out, or if you’ve switched to LED bulbs, the flasher relay isn’t compatible with the lower electrical draw of LEDs. Both are easy fixes once we know which one.
Headlight lens oxidation is the most common cause. The polycarbonate lens yellows and hazes over time, scattering the beam and dramatically reducing night visibility. Lens restoration or replacement solves it without touching the bulbs.
We check the tow vehicle’s trailer connector output during a light inspection if trailer wiring is installed. For full trailer light service, bring the trailer in.
